Dominika Staniec

A creative and talented biochemist from Krakow! The artist was born in 1986 in Krakow and raised in Nowa Huta. She studied biotechnology at the Jagiellonian University and the University of Lund, and in 2018 she defended her PhD in biochemistry. In addition to her profession, she is also a state-certified Beskidian guide, a UX/UI designer, a volunteer, a lover of mountains, Scandinavia and books. Her passion is painting, which she discovered in preschool and has been actively developing since 2020. She treats painting as an adventure and a way to express emotions. She likes to experiment with colors, textures, and techniques, especially using watercolors and acrylic paints. Her favorite themes are nature and landscapes, which she presents with exceptional talent and sensitivity. The undeniable proof of her skills is that her works have already won awards and distinctions at various exhibitions. Her talent is definitely worth attention!
